まずはじめに、私はGlob@tをもはやオススメする気にはなれないので、申し込みなどについてのコンテンツは一切削除しました。すでにユーザーの方の為に、キャンセルのしかたについて、リアルタイムでまとめて公開しておこうと思います。
現在は、さくらインターネットのさくらのレンタルサーバスタンダードをおすすめしています。SS900.COMでも利用しています。
このサイトはGlob@tというホスティングサービスを利用していました。海外のホスティングサービスですが、成り行き上、英語のドキュメントとか、なんとか読めるものですから、英語で説明されていれば申し込みとかもできるので、頑張って利用していました。インターネットの普及のおかげで、海外のホスティング会社であろうと、申し込みが完了してしまえば、特に区別なく利用できますので、最初のひとがんばりで安く強力なサービスを利用できるようになるものですから、挑戦してみたわけです。
使用感としては、CGIは以前まで利用していたWEBMASTERS.COMに比べれば結構きびきびと動いている感じがしますが、国内のサーバーに比べるとはるかにもっさりとしていました。また、ウェブページからのファイルの転送はやっぱりページ内の画像が表示されるまでにちょっとタイムラグを感じます。
WEBMASTERSの時に経験した、Dreamweaver MX 2004による上書きアップロードができないという問題はありませんでしたが、アップロード時は、ファイルとファイルの間のオーバーヘッドが大きいようで、たくさんのファイル群をアップロードやダウンロードしようとすると大変パフォーマンスが悪いです。そのため、Dreamweaver MX 2004でテンプレートやアセットを使用して、サイト全体を更新したようなときは使い物にならないくらい時間がかかってしまっていました。
総合的には、やはり安定感が低いですね。あまりクリティカルな用途にはむかないかと思います。体感的には、月に１、２回は不具合が発生しているようで、サイトにアクセスできないことがあります。一時期CGIプログラムがデータファイル等に書き込めなくなってCGIが事実上麻痺していたこともありました。これは１〜２週間も続いたでしょうか。
それから一番致命的なのが、サポートの対応が遅いことでしょうか。

また、Glob@tのサイトを見ている限り、アカウントのキャンセルのしかたの説明がありません。どうなっちゃうのか、乞うご期待（笑）。

問い合わせフォームから、キャンセルフォームが見えないよ、とメールしてから一週間後、4/19アクセスできたので、そこから解約。
この間に新しいレンタルサーバーを契約し、DNS設定を変更して、4/14には、新しいレンタルサーバーでの稼働を開始しましたので、このあとは、もう表に見えてない状態です。
現在はこちらのフォームになるようです。

（最初のメールで5/1に自動更新、ってありましたが、そういうこともなく、無事キャンセルできました。とうぜん、とっくにサイトの本体は別のホスティング会社に設置して、そちらで稼働していました）
それいらいはキャンペーンの案内のメールも来なくなりました。
